Has anyone used Dragon / Momoi Ultra 8x Nano braid ? It has a dia of .25mm and a strength of 29kg. I seen some listed on ebay and fishing-mart.eu ? I don't know if fishing-mart.eu is a legit bussiness or not however. They also had dragon NanoClear 8. I don't know if it really is clear like mono is h...

Re: Straight up long distance
I have a z2020 with zpi sic bearings running dry. My t3 ballistic with zpi sic bearings also running dry will out distance it every time by about 5 yards. ZPi sic bearings are very quiet even when running them dry.

Re: Best BAITCASTER braking system for weightless Senko.
A supertuned daiwa T3 or T3 ballistic with Zpi bearings for the spool. IF you want to spend more $$ get a daiwa Z2020 or Z200 and drop a set of Wicked reelz abec 9 spool bearings in it. Mine will out distance my Supertuned T3 ballistic with ZPi spool bearings.

I bought a couple of them and they work fine. You gotta change your rod tip angle. Hold it down waaaay down.

Re: Daiwa Z2020 spool removal
Well wicked reelz sent me the wrong bearings. I had ordered their new super abec 9 bearings for my Z2020. I bought boca bearings spool pliers to do my own bearing upgrades.

Re: Daiwa Z2020 spool removal
My stock side plate bearing that came in the reel measures 10mm outside diameter. The other bearing on the spool shaft measures 11mm outside diameter. That is the bearings that came in the reel. The ones I bought measure
11mm and 8mm outside diameter.
11mm and 8mm outside diameter.

Re: Daiwa Z2020 spool removal
Ok I got it out. Now I dont think the bearings I got will fit. The bearings I got were 11mm and 8 mm outside diameter.
I measure my 2 spool bearings and I got 11mm and 10mm outside diameter. Is that right?

Re: Daiwa Z2020 spool removal
Thanks for the reply. Its the small phillips screw in the red circle. I dont think you can get to the spool without removing it.

Daiwa Z2020 spool removal
Im having trouble getting out my spool on my Z2020. The little screw above the magnetic dial is the problem.
I can't find a Philips screw driver to fit it. What size Phillips screw driver do I need?

Re: Daiwa Z2020 owners
So the Z2020 does not need to be supertuned? maybe just add some better spool bearings?
