I really like the 6'8-6'9 lengths for most of my fishing, besides a slightly shorter rod for topwater. Well hopefully theres a shop in nj/pa where i can handle it first, thanks for the info.

Im using a dobyns champion 682 currently and wanted to just use it for senkos and shakeyhead and downsize to something just a hair lighter for dropshotting, thanks for any info. played with both and the M1 is definitely the stouter rod. What you looking to use the rod for? Id like to know how the 6'9 m1 spinning model would compare to my dobyns champion 682 in terms of weight and sensitivity. I like the yozuris the best. I stocked up on them when sports authority had 50% off sales a few months back. I think there the best smaller jerkbait for the money, there deadly for yellow perch and trout.
