Re: T3 or Tatula Type-R?

Re: line for senko

I haven't been fishing Senkos for long, but I find the increased sensitivity of fluoro helps. Sniper is a very good brand.

Megabass Cranker

As someone who missed out on a low speed J-Dream, I was wondering if anyone knows if Megabass have ever, or will soon offer, a Low Speed (5:1ish) in a low profile frame? Thanks in advance.

Re: Aussie pride

The rod in kakaryan's pictures is the Z series, there is ,in normal Daiwa style, a cheaper version using exactly the same blank but with a different handle. It is red and gloss black. It is available in spin and baitcast but the ULFS model is not available. I recently sourced one of the 7'6" MLFS ro...

Re: Top water action.

Down here on some of the heavily pressured lakes, the fish do tend to sulk in quieter areas and you need to put in extra effort to work out when they are feeding more actively. I would think it's a fairly common situation; imagine what it must be like with all the motor traffic and sounders pinging ...

Re: Aussie pride

Aussiebasser, what size exit whole does the Ryuron have. I'm guessing that being a much earlier series, the hole is larger than the current 2mm size. The earlier boat rods have a different size and the newer ones are larger again. By the way the original 6 foot cast rod makes a fantastic spinnerbait...

Re: Flushing a brand new reel?

I will normally fish a new reel for a couple of trips then open it up clean it out then use my prefered lubricants. In the last 12 to 18 months I have found a lot of new reels have very minimal grease on the verge of being dry. And I have found spool bearings with too much lube, it pays to remove s...

Re: 13 Archangel

Martin, I have been on the Phenix Australia site. Maybe I'm not reading it properly, but no mention of K2 rods or blanks on there. I already have a request for information in asking for availability and prices of an M1 series rod. It appears to be the most recent offering. Hello, noted. Thanks for ...
