Re: New Fuego Baitcaster
How did this post go from a Fuego to an Alphas? I just want a reel to throw cranks that I don't throw that often anyway. Just don't want an expensive reel sitting in the rod locker.

Re: New Fuego Baitcaster
There are quite a few of good casting reels made from Aluminum that weigh less than 7oz, but for some reason Daiwa can't seem to make one unless it is over $300 and is magnesium or Zaion. I have four Smoke 100 reels that are all aluminum, and weight 6.2oz. yea but they're not Daiwas or Shimanos

Rocky Ledge
Jim has started up Rocky Ledge tackle again. His spinnerbaits are second to none IMO. All pewter heads. Great colors. Just Goggle Rocky Ledge Tackle.

Personally, I don't like the brake system. I like the E's and G's brakes better.

I'll bet if they priced it over $300 it would get more respect.

About 40" and around 16 lbs. My biggest ever Pike. Btw, caught on a 6'8" MXF Crucial, Scorpion XT1000 with 10 lb BPS E...
