Add some green peppers and onions and make a omelet (just to cover your bases).

Heck I watched the preceding ad all the way through. Hilarious. I thought it was a gag (no pun intended)

Re: best combo
I too have a fall back combo that seems to get grabbed and fished more than others. But not for the reasons one may think. The waters I fish can be pretty snaggy and weedy, hooking a big bass puts a strain on the rod trying to pull a fish through bull-rushes to the shoreline. I tend to grab a combo ...

Re: I'm curious. Did anyone ever see or purchase the MB boa
I wondered the same thing. Guessing one would have to have pretty deep pockets and a desire for the niche water fishing this boat provides. I always liked the boat and actually have the water down here to use it. Unfortunately, my pockets do not meet the depth requirements for importing a CF boat fr...

Re: how much does the amount of bearings a reel has matter.
I'm going between the Daiwa ballistic ex and the Shimano ci4+fa i like both reels but the shimano has 7 bearings and the daiwa has 10 bearings. How much does this matter? To answer your bearing question: When comparing Daiwa and Shimano, the bearing count matters little. Very often 4 of the bearing...

Re: USPS and their wonderful Insurance and Claims Scam
Yep, I went to the Post office to ask the question about losses where your purchase insurance to cover losses or damage during shipping. I was told you need to have a proof of value by a competent authority or a sales receipt showing the value of the item to get a reimbursement. So I asked about an ...

Re: Frankenrod
I do remember the rod project well and the 893 blank (didn't want to spoil the reveal). The $1000 toad road as I remember. It's a beaut and in reality, we are spending close to that amount for off the shelf top tier rods that won't do exactly what yours does or look as nice. Thanks for re-post...

Re: TWO BROKEN RODS.
Only thing I can figure that perhaps the rods at Gander Mountain were damaged in some way. If the rod blanks at nicked or in anyway compromised, they could fail on first time out hooks sets. That's the reason 13FIshing offers a free replacement if the rod breaks when first used (manufacturer defect ...

Re: 13 Fishing handle
If I recall Shimano will not swap to Daiwa. The handle hole is too small. Been a while since I played with swaps. Could be wrong.
