I have talked with tackle trap on that rod and heard it was a great model. I fished the 7-6 ML and 7-1 ML in the tatula line which is very similar and they are very sensitive rods. You'll like it.

I appreciate the reply. I don't understand that either. I have also heard the new exprides are more powerful so now I have no clue what a ML will feel like.

What size reels are you guys fishing on the 7'-6" rod? I have a 3000 on one but thinking a deep 2500 would work too. Anyone throw a 2500 on one?

Hey guys, can anyone compare the 7 M F and 7-2 ML F spinners. I want to use for jerkbaits and they seem very similar.

Versatile is an understatement. I am probably going to go after another 7-6 compile as well. I want one for SW fishing in Florida too. Not sure how to describe it but it certainly can do all ML and M duties. I fished it with treble baits the other day and it was even killer for that.

If you like the old 7-6 you will like the new one as well but it does have slightly more power. I would take the steez over any Dobyns offerings. I believe the new and old steez in 7-6 would cover all the applications you are looking for and then some. They are very versatile.

I have owned Luvias, tatula LT, Kage, and Ballistic LT MQ. I know its not the Certate but the Ballistic MQ is something to keep in mind too. Its a killer reel!

Interested in these as well. Pretty high price point for what looks like a revamped e6x. Its hard to image these are better than avids but who knows. I can't say that until I fish one.
