fx68 and variants
hello everyone I was wondering what is the difference between the fx68, fx68 rosso, and fx68 viola? I understand the colorways are different and the rosso and viola are 7.3:1 and the regular is 6.8:1 but is there a difference in the price value and which ones are more rare/desirable?

Re: swapping lin 10 balck jungle handle
I'm guessing the easiest fix would be to buy the smaller nut and use the smaller nut plate that comes with the Zonda and IS models.

Re: swapping lin 10 balck jungle handle
I'm unsure about what is the problem. I've got both my LIN10M (90mm Ito carbon handle) and LIN10BJ in front of me and they appear to have the same handle nut and the locking plate, while contoured differently, has the same dimensions in terms for screw and nut spacing. These little stubby nuts can ...

Re: swapping lin 10 black jungle handle
would this nut screw work with the reel and the 80mm handle and smaller nut plate that originally came on the 80mm handle?

Re: which bearings are best?!
First thing having owned an IS 71 I would say not to waste money on a bearing upgrade, they are very smooth and refined in that reel. If however, you feel the need to tinker, it goes HH, zpi, then everything else from my experience. I've tried Boca's in a Steez before and actually lost distance. I ...

Re: Monoblock Appreciation Society.
I agree! it is still a great looking reel but black carbon fiber would look 100% better. but im sure there are plenty of people who disagree so to each their ownRedlinerobert wrote:Beautiful reel. I'd like it more if it had a carbon side plate rather than the pebbled leather. But that's just me.
