Still loomis since 2008
Re: NRX 843
I've fished the 843 3-4 times now and its been excellent, very sensitive, light and strong. So far I've got one wiper, one crappie and 5 rainbow trout ranging from 4-6lb and the 843 handled all like a champ. Now to catch some smallies and largemouth :-k https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1643/2611812208...

Re: Where are the shimanos?
Thanks, I love them both :) Lucky I didn't forget to grab my Sebenza, it blends in pretty good with the shoreline. I put the Conquest on the 843 and the Metanium on the 852, it just makes sense this way haha. Right now the CQ is my favorite reel, its super smooth and casts excellent, prob the smooth...

Re: NRX 843
Got the rod today, its everything I wanted in a MH. Its also well made from loomis, strait guides, no epoxy on the guides, clean wraps and the cork is pretty nice. Just got done adding U-40 :) I noticed they put the hook hanger on the left side, my 852 has it underneath when fishing. Either way its ...

Favorite Chatterbait
What's you favorite chatterbait and why?
I'm looking for one that runs true at all speeds, looks good and is tough, meaning it will stay together.
I recently got some Jackall Break Blade baits, but I haven't had a chance to fish them yet...

Re: Shimano YUMEYA 13 Metanium DEEP SPOOL
would it be inappropriate if I said I liked your handle ;) So I don't yet have a reason to fish 15# braid on a baitcaster but I will research the shallow spool in case I develop a need That's offensive :big grin: Its about the only thing I fish anymore is braid with a FC leader, if you haven't trie...
