Re: Shimano Stradic FL (Smootheness)?
I'm actually surprised that TT hasn't made a jig to measure jouls of energy used to rotate a spin or baitcaster reel. And a jig that holds a reel again spin or baitcaster and measures its actual rotational noise via either noise or sensor via a worm style graph tracker? How it would correlate into ...

I used it inshore for a few years , snook , reds , trout , etc. btw , I had a heck of a time finding a place that had one in stock. Finally found one....

Re: Tatula Elite vs Steez A
Don't the tatula elites also have brass gears but also aluminum side plates? The side plates of the zillion sv tw are zaion right? Wouldn't aluminum frame and side plates with brass gears be preferable for heavier lures? (Kind of like how the new Zillion 10 went with metal side plates and the og zi...

Re: Tatula Elite vs Steez A
If it's been run for 1 year and still smooth , I'd say it had some factory grease in it. Keep us posted.

Re: Tatula Elite vs Steez A
I am super impressed with my Daiwa Coastal SV TW as well so far! Smootheness is def on the same level as my Steez A and Steez SV TW. Of course the later are already a couple of years old. So one would need to see how the new Tatula's behave over time. Looking forward to get my other Tatulas now and...
