Re: ZPI NRC001PG... Anyone knows what is the use of ....
This ZPI pg spool feels like a sv spool for slightly heavier weight baits and line. It is very controllable, and very responsive. I put 14lb sniper on it, and swear my line looks like I just put it on after a few uses, and may casts and skips. I don't think I have ever even seen it fluff up. I have ...

Re: Asian Portal Fishing Shop
In the name of TT I decided to be the guinea pig. Small test order just over $100 to see if I got free shipping. Nope no free shipping even though it says so right on the home page, but was around $5. Not to big of a deal, but free is better. Didn’t order a rod cause there prices are pretty high for...

Re: ZPI NRC001PG... Anyone knows what is the use of ....
I believe the washer covers the magnet to help replace the side plates bearing. I never even used my washer. Spool is all the hype though. It’s a PG (power game) spool and meant for 16lb fl line. Should be ok for heavy weights even though it feels slightly fragile in hand. I’m using my spool to skip...

Re: Reels for Better Distance for Lighter Baits
Out of the 3 mentioned metanium mgl hands down. Then chronarch than curado. Metanium and chronarch mgl spools start up easier and are lighter and cast very good.

Re: Luxxe Rods
I will post some more pics this evening, but I would like to point out some the primary differences in the rods to the best of my knowledge. 6'7 M Oltre: 75,000 YEN, 115grams 7'0 MH Efreet: 53,000 YEN, 110 grams I paid 125600 including shipping, so a bit of some savings. The Oltre is certainly the ...

Re: Luxxe Rods
I read this a few times and I'm not clear on what you are saying. Are there certain rods that claim to use the higher end materials in their blanks, but some aren't really as good as others? Just trying to understand what you are saying so I can buy the rod thats using the best materials for the $ ...

Re: Luxxe Rods
Beautiful combos! I've been tempted to pull the trigger on the oltre for a while now, but something hard to find has came up every time I consider placing my order. Would love to hear more feedback and comparisons of these once you wet a line or two.
Thanks,
Dom

Re: EVOLUZION (C40-HDTS) 2018
Typically in my opinion Megabass 4 power rods are ok for smaller cranks not sure about a 1/2 oz spinnerbaits. 3 power is more finesse stuff in my opinion. I have not tried any version of the shamrock so I can’t say how it fishes, but these rods are beautiful in person I have the diablo type l. Havin...

Re: Steez A Question
Thanks for all the replies, only bad review I found was a guy from BR (not a member there, read it from google) and he said the stabilizing pin just fell off his Steez A. Sold it for a Metanium MGL saying it felt "much smoother on retrieve" which was odd to me. I just have a deep fear of ordering a...

I've not heard, seen, or read of trouble with Alconite of yet. I mean, how much hardness is enough? I'm no expert, and at risk of coming across really stupid here, but I believe I once read even the vaunted MB X7 series uses them? No that is false. Megabass x7s are Fuji kr concept titanium guides. ...
