Re: Shimano YUMEYA 13 Metanium DEEP SPOOL
I use 15lb braid/4lb mono equivalent and it works amazing.DavidSA wrote:I've not seen a yumeya spool of any type without braking components either. The 13met has a slightly bigger stock spool then the MGL but neither has massive capacity. What is the purpose of the shallow spool;; to fish 6# FC

Re: Shimano YUMEYA 13 Metanium DEEP SPOOL
I think all Yumeya spools come with the brakes.
I have the shallow spool and it came with the SVS.

Re: NRX 843
Excellent, thanks.
Super excited, I think I'm gonna throw my CQ 101hg on this rod and put my Metanium 13 on my 852.

Re: NRX 843
I just got a notice from monster that the rod will ship directly from Gloomis, has anyone had this happen before?
If so does it take longer to receive the rod?

Re: NRX 843
I got a NRX 852 casting and spinning, so a 842 is to close to the same specs to purchase, for now at least :big grin: but the 843 will be ordered very soon I'm thinking... If the 25% off sale ends before you buy it, you will regret it :P Where are they onsale at? You can find them on Outdoorproshop...

Re: Conquest 100hg came in (size comparison)
Looks excellent. Is there any options for a shallow spool? Looks like HH is out of there shallow spool... If you have a Metanium, that Standard Plus handle you have on the Conquest looks great on them... That's already been taken care of :big grin: https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5452/17757847009_31...
NRX 843
Thinking I need this rod in my life :big grin: For those who own it, how much do you love it? Does it work awesome for all purpose rod? What do you use it most for? How much more powerful does it feel vs the 852? Sorry for all the question and thanks. I'm either going to throw my CQ 101hg on it or m...

Re: Where are the shimanos?
That is a beautiful! 852 is my favorite jerkbait rod too, casting and spinning. What reel is that on there? The reel is a Shimano Vanquish c3000hg, super light weight and smooth. Looks like a couple hundy worth of Lucky Craft Pointers too  And a sharp Simms backpack. You've got good taste ...
