i've been using Owner STX Zo WiRe 38's and 45's but i buy on hit and runs cause they are expensive but highly effective

As others have mentioned bass size is defined by the waters you fish. For me a largemouth over 7lbs is noteworthy but 9's & DD's get maximum attention. Take a look at the new Bantam. They are as solid as they come.

My PB topwater fish slurped a Yellow Magic popper in bone after a couple of twitches & pops. I'm watching the bait then see it disappear in a quite toilet flush. She swallowed it.

Steve yes Erie is still prespawn. Water temps were 47-52 during my 4 days of fishing. All fish were caught casting & drifting in mostly 10-23 fow. I have never sight fished for smallies in Erie.
