Re: MB vision 110 color
Yes the hooks are thin and weak they are incredibly sharp and although they bend and open up I've never had one break.

Re: Megabass X-80 TD Trick Darter Jerkbaits
As you predicted, they are deadly on river smallies. However you can't beat the 110 for lakes.

I fish chatter baits often and either use a torn up keitech or a zako both with good success.

Re: Football Jigs
There are several ways to fish a football jig. You can drag it, hop it, or stroke it. The drag and hop are self explanatory and stroking just means you're raising your rod tip as much over your head at different speeds.

Re: Favorite dock rig on spinning rod
I use a donkey rig with 2 kvd caffeine shads. I fish it on a 7'2'' M old black cumara with braid to 8lb flouro leaders. I caught my pb 6.4lber last summer on it. Because its weightless it skips extremely well, and a donkey rig is a double fluke rig.

Re: Megabass Vision 110 vs Lucky Craft Pointer
110 in old discontinued mossback yft or pro blue. I do like the pointer 78's in the spring when fishing my private community lake that's stocked with 15-24 in trout. That way there's a chance of bass or trout. I've caught 5lbers on the 78's but haven't been able to get any trout on the 110.

If I could only have 1 crank it would be an old Lucky Craft RC 1.5 in copper green shad.

Re: When to use 1/8!and 1/4?
I use lighter jigs up to 1\4 when fishing in cold water below 60*. The slow fall of the small jigs is important especially when water is below 50*. Light slow falling jigs are also great for the pressured NJ bass I fish. I love fishing 1\16-1\8 hair jigs in Dec-Mar and 1\4 oz jigs though the spring ...

Re: Old Jigs New collars
there a several simple solutions to worn out skirt collars. #1 don't buy jigs that are bound by a cheap piece of rubber #2 use thin wire, thread or braid to tie the skirt above the worn out band then cut off the band using something like a bread bag wire tie to collect the skirt strands on top and b...
