Correct. The Curado 200E does actually have an aluminum drag star. I belive the 50E Curado and Chronarch both have plastic stars.

Personally feel that the EMTF is out of its comfort zone near or about 3/4 oz. This is a rod that a lot of folks like for senkos (3/8 oz total weight). I like it for jigs, texas rigs, weightless plastics, and chatterbaits. Again I am fishing no heavier than a 1/2 oz jig with say a RI beaver style tr...

I would also vouch for the EMTF from the Orichi XX line. I have used the rod a ton. Probably my favorite rod for baits under 3/4 oz. Killer 1/2 oz jig rod or swim jig rod. Can throw chatter baits or spinnerbaits just fine. Also use it for weighted and unweighted texas rigged plastics. It casts well ...

NRX 873 CRR. Bought it as jig rod but do throw a C-rig on it occasionally as well.
