I have zpi medium grease , wasn't too impressed.

I use Maxima. It stays put , heat won't make it run. Most motorcycle shops or speed shops carry it.

Tackle Warehouse is stocked up on right hand versions , right now .if anybody is interested.

Weight is very close. What other differences are there?

What makes the 70 mgl worth $30 more than the new 150 ?

I couldn't stand the ergonomics of the thumbar on the k. This thumbar looks more like a metanium , thank god.

Feeling more rigid was meh ,imo. I change all of my spool bearings and use tsi 321,probably why I didn't see any difference in casting distance. Either way ,I can agree to disagree. Take care Gary ,I hope to see y'all at the shop in the fall. Gonna try to get up there and wet a line...

I understand it's not going anywhere. But , they could at least change it up mechanically. I guess that's what I was trying to say. Like the elite , I couldn't tell no difference in performance from the ct or the 100 , other than my wallet was about $100 lighter over a ct or 100 purchase.

I'm a daiwa fan 100% , that's all I fish. But ,daiwa and the tatula is like the c-vid and the main stream media...they just can't let it go. At least throw a free floating spool in it.

How is the casting distance on the mgl ?

ditto. Chornarch mgl was the worst $300 I ever spent.

Hopefully they do away with that crappy thumb bar on the next curado. It's the only reason I sold the ones I had. Glad to see they kept standard thumb bar on new curado 70 , might give one of those a whirl.

Fitzgerald Bryan Thrift 6'9 heavy skipping special , with a curado dc , it don't get any better imo.
