Yeah I mostly have shim reels, and few daiwa, I guess i could use a sharpie pen to paint the handle shaft once its in the optimal position, I believe that could do the trick to stop messing around.

I was wondering if you guys have a trick to replace que drag nut properly on the handle shaft, its always like a hit and miss for me. Sometimes I need the remove the handle and adjust a few time before I eliminate the handle play. I tryed to count the number of thread left on the upper part before r...

I think you could get better deal on the metaniumdc, but not regarding price I would choose the steez if it didnt have tw. I got both, 2 very nice reels for different application. If I had to choose only one reel I would go with the mgl since its more versatile.

You can get away with it, but without a proper leader they will likely slice that #100 pp like butter if they get their tooth on it.

Maybe im wrong, but for me it looks like one more thing that can go wrong.
