Re: Best bang for the buck spinning reel

75 - 120 the obvious choices are Fuego LT and Tatula LT. I can't believe no one's mentioned the LT reels yet.

And btw...I strongly recommend against Chinese manufactured spinners. Baitcasters, you might get lucky.

What's the heaviest weight you'd comfortably throw on that 7'L+? I'm doing a lot of things well with my 610ML, but missing a little bit of length for certain techniques.

Re: Daiwa Rebellion Rods 2020

HVF + blading x...this was the Cronos formula, and those were very lively rods. I liked them better than any of the Tatula variants released last couple of years.

Re: The Offseason Changes Continue!

A guy like you may buy Daiwa Steez rods and reels but that guy comes through the door once a week maybe. One youth on the tube with say 309 subs will make much more when those 309 go through shimanos door and get middle tier equipment. Thing is, from a marketing POV these are not mutually exclusive...

Valleyhill - Jado - Guidepride baits

I remember seeing these awhile back, LC built but to guidepride's specs. Interesting baits, the pointer clones with weight transfer I can't wait to cast.

Does the green mirror actually give a GREEN TINT as you look out, or does it actually have a different tint looking through it?
The 580g green mirrors are bronze based lenses. Very good all around choice for freshwater fishing. The blue mirrors are gray based, I like those too.

What irks me is they come in flat eye hook hangers...hard to find appropriate single hooks for them.

Re: New grease suggestions

My life's been a whirlwind of buying a house, marriage, child arrival, selling my old faithful Suzuki Sierra and buying another ASX and work, crappy weather (either drought & no water / downpour rains and flooding), servicing and home DIY work also... Ive applied the Tef-Gel to my Curado K MM g...

Re: New grease suggestions

So applied some WS2 for added benefit... IMG_20190707_195128.jpg Will let it run through for a while - not too keen to revisit the Calais again for a bit... Slazmo, any updates on this experiment? I too added a bit of Shimano drag grease over the Tef Gel on my Revo Beast...almost feels perfect. But...

At least I won't have to look at Stella - Enigma combos anymore.

I wonder if the Duo Japan guys made fun of his setup at lake Biwa...

I've always felt a bit of 'envy' that the best fishing sunglasses are made for those with good eyesight and need no correction.
Costa and Maui Jim both do Rx...I think either would serve you well.

I am in the process of replacing some hooks on lures and need to order some new split rings. Who makes the ones with the smallest internal diameter? strength isn't really an issue as I use 4lb leaders. Thanks.
Decoy makes them down to 000. Very high quality rings imo.
