Re: Low profile baitcaster feedback- drag pressures

Hi, 1337! Here some subtleties. 1. If drag to meter at a complete spool and 5 pounds were received, on the last turns will be just about 4 kilogrammes. 2. Drag - relevant parameter. I too appealed for dear TT to meter it and to direct in the browses. But... And on a poor, unfast reel there can be a ...

Re: Starting fresh! What is first lure purchase? revised!!!

Shads and minnows 9-15 centimeters. On the small rivers and in the coastal zone of the major rivers - is fine on a pike-perch and pike above 2 lb... Best in tandems (floating s/m + sinking = slowly sinking). For example, with small jig at the front at 25-40 centimeters. Works in various manner, but ...

Re: Best baitcasting reel under $150 bucks?

I think, curve of the centrifugal brake more abrupt, than curve of the magnetic brake (see figure). Both that, and other the systems are in own way good. Here were debated President, Advantage Super Tuned etc. And how look in matching with them Abu Torno 3006HSI, Tica Sculptor, Pinnacle LP (Scion, T...

Re: Check It Out!

Sunfish, sunfish..? Springing sunfish? O-o. No, it's no springing inshore sunfishes here. Only frogs. Still spring "jerekhs" - but far. Closer than 50 meters such do not spring - cautious. And here there is such very lazy fish - "naleem" (may be - burbot?). Sometimes sails to "kukan" (?) and scoff a...

Re: Check It Out!

Once I have forgotten rods. And up to forests far - and time it is not enough. It was necessary to shear off a osierbed and to attach to it a reel by an adhesive plaster. One ring has made of an office paper clip. Has attached too by adhesive plaster. Also has caught a pair of pike-perches. One - ap...

Spools

Robertg wrote ( http://www.dealtackler.com/T3Forum/viewtopic.php?t=2318&start=90&sid=cd0c7f6eb3c99ce4cdc4cefc8d9a745c ) about Custom spools. I think, it is an interesting theme for discussion and testing: qualities of the same reel with miscellaneous spools. I while have made 1 spool, it is easier t...

Re: 2005 Review List - What Would YOU Like to See?

I am sorry, once again (because Snidley...). At first: has forgotten to thank Command of a Site. Thanks! The site is already popular in Russia, and the popularity will grow. We now often to refer on it. It is specially interesting for castingists, as in Russia the spinning prevails and not enough in...

Re: 2005 Review List - What Would YOU Like to See?

I accede to Hoss05 - completely. I understand and accede to position of Zander (http://www.dealtackler.com/T3Forum/viewtopic.php?t=2623&highlight=ratings). In my opinion, it will be agreeed. Simply I have noted, that not enough notice is given to cheap tackles. In inverse proportion to actual demand...

Re: 2005 Review List - What Would YOU Like to See?

I think, the tests and cheapest casting reels are interesting. (Such as Bando Tova).
The major request: meter and show the actual drag of all reels.

Re: Abu Anti-Backlash

Yes, he so also uses it - with the out-of-operation system.
However to know: as it works, as it to use, - it is interesting. Sometimes it is necessary to give to try to the newbie angler, and it is better, that he has not created a bird's nest... The line is a pity :).
Who knows - suggest, please.

Hi!
My friend have Abu AB4600, but without the manual.
We do not know, how it to use with the system "Anti-Backlash".
How correctly to insert line in this reel?
Thanks!
