Finally took this reel out this weekend....Great price but I hate it. Poor position of the brake adjustment. Has anyone fished the new Aird baitcast yet ? I have a few Laguna reels and would like to try the low speed Aird to crank with. Yes I have and quite a bit too. Thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw the TT preview of the Lexa on the home page but the pictures they took has the reel mounted backwards on the rod.

Daiwa literature lists the 100 model weight at 7.9oz. It is A7075 lightweight aluminum as well.
