Finally took this reel out this weekend....Great price but I hate it. Poor position of the brake adjustment. Has anyone fished the new Aird baitcast yet ? I have a few Laguna reels and would like to try the low speed Aird to crank with. Yes I have and quite a bit too. Thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw the TT preview of the Lexa on the home page but the pictures they took has the reel mounted backwards on the rod. :D

Still a VERY sweet looking reel.

Daiwa literature lists the 100 model weight at 7.9oz. It is A7075 lightweight aluminum as well.
