Re: Confirmed new Nrx coming out !!
Ok, I have read all I can find. What rod should I get for Ned rigs. I have a 902S and the Steez 7 6 MML. It would be between 821S and the 901S. Sensitivity and fun factors are most important. ' I have both of these rods and a 7’6 Steez. I would go with the 821 for all Neds under 1/4 oz. the 7’6 Ste...

Re: Confirmed new Nrx coming out !!
Been using the 821s NRR for a year now. For the ned rig specifically, I can't imagine a better rod. I paired it with a Vanquish 2500 SHG and the combo is like a feather in my hand. 10lb braid to 7lb fluoro. I fish primarily with 1/10oz jigheads and occasionally 1/15oz. I use a small variety of zman...

I have a bunch of 872 and 822 DSRs for smallmouth fishing. I also have a 902 and 901 for swimbaits and hair jigs.

The below link to the BASS site has some pre-icast announcements, so not exactly leaks. Check out the trigger on the new st croix swimbait rods. More of a pistol grip. https://www.bassmaster.com/slideshow/2022-icast-new-products-preview/1034287 The trigger reel seats have been available for a few y...

The Greenfish Tackle swimbait head looks like a ripoff of the Smeltinator jig.

Re: Loomis 904c
I don’t have a 904c, but if you’re looking for a 3/4 oz and up football jig or swing head rod, take a look at the 905c Conquest. Super stout but has a heavyish top third to the blank.

Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
The rod was finally delivered today after being stuck in Alaska for almost a week (FedEx has really gone downhill). The rod has a nice progressive regular taper to it. I think it will be great for 3/8-3/4 oz bladed jigs and larger top water. What’s been your experience with the rod? I haven't put e...

Re: BaitFuel - a Warning
Any updates on the effectiveness of the Baitfuel? Thanks Definitely a small sample size, but I caught about two smallmouth for every one my friend caught this past weekend. Using the same Roboworm size and color drop shotting. Has anyone else noticed that the Roboworms seems to be a little stiffer ...

Re: Suggestions for dedicated chatterbait rod
I'll post up a review when I put time on the rod. I will say that their build quality is just as good as any custom rod builder out there.jerkbait22 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 5:34 pmCan you post your impressions on this rod? I’ve always wanted to try evergreen.

Re: A list of great spool swaps
I can bomb a Pop-X or similar sized popper in both the Alphas CT and Steez CT with stock spools.
