Re: Studio Composite rods
I recently got a For The Beast FTB70XXH as I wanted a compact swimbait rod, and really like it so far. The rod is fairly light, well balanced, and pretty sensitive. I've only thrown hardbaits in the 2-3.5oz range on it so far and it handles them quite well. I haven't caught anything over 4.5# on it ...

Re: Legit Design rods
I’ve got the wss61l and the soc66l+, and really enjoy using both of them. Definitely very nice rods at their price point. I really need to grab one of their more power oriented rods

Re: Jackall Revoltage
These rods definitely have my interest, particularly the C66M+ and C68MH. Seems a little odd the M40X technology isn't utilized in the 66M+ though, especially since they mention using it in models where sensitivity is important. Based on the description, the 66M+ sounds like a rod where high sensiti...

Re: 2023 Steez “Real Control” Rods
Thought you all might want to check out this video. Kyoya mentions the spinning rod he used at Champlain was a Real Control prototype, so it looks like new option(s?) in the series may be on the horizon. https://www.bassmaster.com/gear/video/tackle-tip-tuesday-kyoya-fujitas-winning-lures-at-lake-cha...

Daiwa Steez Werewolf
Anybody have experience with this rod? I’ve been looking at getting a compact ML+ to M versatile rod and came across the werewolf. Was originally planning to buy a NRX+ 802c but as usual, veered off course and went down the JDM rabbit hole https://www.daiwa.com/jp/product/detail/rod/bass_rd/steez_ba...

Re: Deps Sidewinder Bush Viper
I wanted to know how good this rod was especially since it commands such a hefty sticker price I recently got a crazy deal on one of these ($229 shipped from Japan!) and decided at that price I could deal with the reel seat haha. In hand, it definitely feels powerful and somewhat fast, despite Deps...

Re: Steez AGS Then Sensor and Megabass X-Bites
I own the sensor and have fished the x bites a bit. The x bites is definitely more powerful. Both are great rods and definitely have some application overlap. For instance, both can handle a 5” t rigged Senko, but if you jump up to the larger sizes, x bites is the clear winner. On the other hand, th...

Re: JDM Site Missing Evergreen Brand
So I’m not the only one who noticed this? I contacted one of the mentioned sites and they told me for the time being, I’d have to email them what I wanted and they would send me an invoice. Kinda hard to do when you can’t see what’s in stock
