Re: Daiwa Zillion SV TW
[quote="LgMouthGambler"]I took the reel out for a little time on the water last night. I was sitting on the patio looking at the sky, and the moon was bright with clear skies. I figured, why not get the boat, take this one reel with me, and have a little night fun to see what the reel is capable of ...

Re: Daiwa reels and Bone rods
Catchbay in Singapore is the place to order from for international sales. all prices there are in USD so no exchange rates to worry about for you guys. I tried to find Catchbay's site, but the address seems to be ww.surecatch .com, which triggers the malware warning on my browser. Do you know if th...

Re: Daiwa reels and Bone rods
Man, I have never heard of those rods before but I am liking what I see. I would love any thoughts/info about that 634L bfs model, I am super interested in that thing. Also, I am a great lover of wordplay but I cannot decide if "Bone Voyage" is *so awful that it's great* or just *actually awful*. :...

Re: Daiwa Zillion SV TW
As far as I'm concerned, that reel is the best reel ever made. It is my favorite by far, and I wouldn't trade it for any Zillion, Alphas, or Steez out there, except maybe to flip it and buy two more. 100% agree. I throw everything with the sv tv just like I did (still do) OG zillions plus lighter s...

Re: Mail Call
Some of these you may have seen in my summer blog when I went full on stupid mode feathering anything and everything. In any case these are my latest topwater additions. I'm super excited about the 160 Mikey coming is at just a tad south of one of my favorite weights to fling of 2.0oz :big grin: Al...

Re: Megabass Valkyrie Rods
Hello, has anyone spent some time on the water with any of the Valkyries? Was interested in the 7-2 Hvy. Thanks I got the 71H last week and have taken it out for a bit almost every day since. Have not hooked into anything big enough to really test it yet and my experience with it is limited. On one...

Re: Cristo-Insane Baitfinesse Terrorist?
I suspect this maker and things like DRT are small batch type custom makers/enthusiasts that just keep it local and small. Just speculating. They do look nice. I’ve been similarly ogling DRT https://www.divisionrebeltackles.com/artex I’ve wanted a big bait bat. These rods make what I’ve considered p...

No way =P~ https://i.imgflip.com/13c4fz.jpg Sorry had to do it =P~ \:D/ Unfortunatly, I have nothing better to do No worries man; the little details, odds and ends on these rods are sweet. I love the aluminum look. Got my monkey going not long after this thread started. I’m in for the 71H. Anticipa...

Re: Mail Call
Very nice haul indeed. I love this thread. May I ask if the 7palms shipping for a haul like this was normal? Unlike the rod shipping charges that is to say.

Re: Conquest 842S or Megabass Addermine
Picked up a used conquest 904 off this forum after breaking a different Shimano heavy powered rod I bought used with no warranty. Needed a replacement in the lineup. Been fishing said 904 the past two days. My first Loomis rod ever. So I’m a virgin never having had the nrx experience. These are not ...

Re: Daiwa Bearing Issues
What are the chances of the pinion bearing going bad on two reels bought by one customer and so quickly? Am I understanding this thread correctly? I’ve had a steez in my cart with plat forever and just hesitant to ‘cheat’ on my zillions. I’ve also not heard of this issue before.

Re: Nishine Lure Works Chippawa
Yeah; also have the silent model in the darker craw color. Great bait. Got one as a freebie and went out of my way to throw it even though my pitching bite is money right now. And I quickly got addicted to the bait. Definitely buying more and hoping to see if I can get one with a knock to it.
