Re: Evergreen SFX Cougar Elite 7GT

I've been eyeing the new Cougar Elite and would love to hear some feedback from anyone who gets one. Main thing holding me back is that I'm eager to find out more info on the Dire Wolf Wild 7 due later this year, and getting both rods really isn't in my budget right now. I held out on getting any of...

Re: Daiwa Rod Repair/Breakage Policy

I think the steez rods are covered under a limited lifetime warranty, but I’m not sure what that all includes

Re: Evergreen Orion "The Degel"

I have not fished the degel but do have a black rose and really like it. The Orion rods are beautiful in a modest way and I have been impressed with mine. I was recently considering the “lightnin strike” but have yet to pull the trigger. The listed weight range on this series is pretty crazy to me,...

Re: JDM Rod for DD Crankbaits, Perhaps Small A Rig

Maybe a P5 tequila baccarac? I haven’t fished one, but it seems to get a lot of praise as being a very versatile heavy application rod

Re: 2021 steez ags rods

I know its not one of the more exciting models, but who has gotten to fish the STAGS74XHFB Extra Heavy Cover Special? Been looking for a partner to go with my SV103XS and am considering this one, just wish it had a full grip.

Deps “Gain Element” casting rods

Anyone have experience with these rods? Been eyeing the “moving element” for a while, and now that a US dealer has them I’m even more interested

701MMHXB-SMT "The Sensor" with PX Type R, feels nice in hand but haven't been able to fish it yet. May also try it with an Alphas SV105

Re: 2021 steez ags rods

Yea, a little disappointing to hear, not sure if its a dealbreaker though Please don't misconstrue my statement. The balance isn't "perfect" but exceptionally few rods are, and those that are are often ridiculed for being too heavy in overall weight. This entire series is light weight in hand, has ...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods

Yes, I've fished all these models for months now through prototype to final version phases. I have fished The Sensor with a Steez CT and 10# Daiwa J-Fluoro Samurai most recently throwing light t-rigs and a 1/4 oz finesse jig. Balance is what I'd consider good, not perfect, but not overly tip heavy ...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods

I've been fishing these rods for quite a while now from prototype to final design stage. I'm excited to see these get out there and for guys to start talking about them. The Tackle Trap has them all at the Bassmaster Classic right now so we'll take some photos and post them up on the FB/IG page tod...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods

I’d been looking at getting a couple new rods recently, thought my decision was made but these are intriguing. A few models in particular Universal light-may be a little too close to my super eiger, but I love that rod so maybe this would make a good buddy for it Utility player-always interested in...
