Re: Knots?
Switched to the uni knot a year ago (from a palomar knot) and never looked back. . Also, I don't think I've ever had a uni knot fail on me. Forgot to mention this is with mono, fluoro, or copoly. For braid Ive used the through the eye twice UNI knot as recommended by PowerPro for years it holds gre...

Re: Best Braid for Finesse Baitcaster
Ive used 10# powerpro for years on a baitcaster if you are good with one then that size should suit you, get the base on tight. Brand well Ive only tried 3 brands stayed with PP cause find it for 7$-8$ often. The super slick might have to check that out been reading good reviews of it.

Re: Berkley NanoFil
Cause of its thin dia .008 @12# if not spooled very tight will dig into itself from the way BC line is loaded "straight on". I had to re-spool 6# a couple times to get it on tight enough just on spinning reel. I had some digging on my stradic til doing such. I guess you could try it though. I put Yo...

Re: What's a Far Cast
Some of you guys are really great . I'd suggest you start training for the worlds championships, since you're in the class of the best casters in this country. These people are using very specialized reels, lines and rods, but only the very best are able to cast 300 feet. Check out the reports from...

Im with you on the small braid been using #10pp for years no issues. Just got a curado and will take out the pawl. There is a video on yo...
