Re: USA Destroyer Oneten Special rod
It's a little more fast action than I expected. I thinking would be a good topwater rod. Squrebills and probably lightnplastics as Mark mentioned

Core MGFV
I've got one I need a gear set for. Don't see that model on Shimano website anymore, just the regular Core 100 with aluminum gear. Are these not available anymore? Or is Shimano out? Or was the MG7 and MGFV gears the same? And if not will another gear work? Also, pinion gear is the same as the regul...

Re: How long for my new xXx to come in?
I've had this situation a couple of times. Usually if you contact them they'll tell you it's not in stock but give an estimate on delivery to them. I've found most of the time they beat their estimate which makes great business sense. But they've always come through.

Re: Megabass Orochi XXX snapped
I broke my destroyer one ten first trip out, three casts in on a 12 inch fish. MB was excellent but I had to wait three weeks as well as they were out of stock. Cutting that rod felt strange but waaaay cheaper.

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods
A couple of quick balance point photos. The balance of the Onager is very impressive for a big bait rod. It feels surprisingly light in hand! Re: Shimano Loomis Conquest rods
Anyone with significant time with the 905C yet? How does it balance especially compare to the 895c nrx which was worst in the line up. Thanks

Re: MegabassOrochi Diablo Uses
You can use it with heavier square bills, but it also makes a really good Swimbait rod small types think Keitech.

Re: New Chatterbait
Decoy are best, reality if you hand tie the skirt that bait should last a while. I've had some success with the mustard fastach but they are trickier to get on....

Re: New Chatterbait
I use size three and it sits flush. Size 4 is a longer link which will not sit flush.

Re: New Chatterbait
I have both the Barlows and Jann's figure 8 links and the Barlows definitely bend easier. I use the Jann's and have been lucky enough to catch one that went 9.8 this year and no problems or bending. Think you'll find the Jann's works just fine.

Re: Tatula Signature Series
Out of curiousity, anyone own both the Elite and Signature rods? Wondering how much the AGS guide make a difference in balance/sensitivity?
