Re: New Megabass Destroyers
The P5 Dark Sleeper seemed a popular option for folks initial purchase. If anyone has experience of this and the Conquest 844 MBR, would love to hear about the differences

Re: Steez AGS Spinning Rods
It’s a great rod, little bit of tip and nicely gets into the backbone to keep fish pegged. It’s my 1/2 oz 5/8oz Jig/T-Rig rod so handles an 1oz well total weight no problems. Still on the fence in terms of sensitivity. Fished it back to back with my 844 Conquest and it wasn’t quite the same. Could b...

Re: Steez AGS Spinning Rods
Please do, I recently got the Daiwa AGS 7’ 1” H and I am very impressed. Based on my fondness for that rod, you would think, it would be easy to give the 7’ M Spinning a try, also for tossing Senkos but the Ho in me wants the new St Croix Legend Extreme instead. Sometimes we are out worst enemies bu...

Helix 9 with MDI G3N. That’s the smallest size to be compatible with mega 360. Put the $350 saving between MSI and MDI into a Mega360 attachment.

Comparing the GLX 820 DSR to the NRX 822 DSR, bites on the NRX seem to be more of an electric versus a dull sensation on the GLX is the best way that I can describe it. Both sensitive but in a different way in transmitting bites. I’m interested to hear if you found this also and what your all time f...

That chap is an artist. Breaks the reels down in every respect. Grab yourself a beer, sit back and enjoy some naked reel action

C3000XGFI 6:4:1
The larger reel size helps with casting but as it's compact, it doesn't need for line to fill.
As for ratio then I couldn't imagine using anything less than the 6:4:1 that is the XGFI

Re: heracles leopard vs Dobyns 765 CB Glass
I've had and sold both the Leopard and Serval in the Heracles line from Evergreen. Being new to fishing, I jumped on the Brett Hite Chatterbait bandwagon. I quickly sold the Leopard as I found it to be too heavy in both weight and power. To put my power comment into context, I caught a 10lb Pike on ...

Awesome write up. Thank you so much for taking the time to do it. I was on the fence but now I will take the plunge and pick up an 854c for 1/2oz jigs with a trailer.

Re: Luxxe Oltre B70H, Ultima 170MH & NRX 854
Thanks for the feedback Ryan. So the Ultima 170MH fishes lighter in power than the 3/8oz to 1oz lure rating suggests ?
While the 854c has more power than its 3/4oz top end lure rating ?

Luxxe Oltre B70H, Ultima 170MH & NRX 854
Looking for a new jig rod to throw a little over 1/2oz total weight.
I'm looking for something with a stiffer tip but still sensitive enough to hop rather than drag jigs.
Feedback against Luxxe Oltre B70H, Ultima 170MH & NRX 854 would be greatly appreciated
