Re: Are split grip handles here to stay?
The fact that they have been around for a long time is a very valid point. I believe the OP of this topic intended to point to the fact that they are not only presently being produced but seem to be the standard in most if not all rod companies, with no other option. Take for example Loomis's top of...

Re: Are split grip handles here to stay?
As Bass Fishing rods get more and more specialized I think split grips will be prominent on tip down and moving bait rods, for tip up applications I think you will see full rear grips make a bit of a comeback. It just makes more sense for balancing. However I think the foregrip will/should never mak...

Re: Flats Boat
I have a buddy down there that has his Ranger boat outfitted with a fiberglass deck, so he can take on the Big O, Istokpoga, Placid(not that its shallow), Glades and out on the flats. It's pretty awesome! A little heavier then a carpeted boat but if I could tell you the places he's gotten us back in...

I love Ike, when I travel outside the NY, Philly, Boston area I feel like I end up in to many conversations of fake pleasantries and boring sound bites. I love it when people wear their emotions on their sleeves and really get involved in the moment/conversations/LIFE, the good with the bad and alot...

Wait for a TackleWarehouse discount and get the Humminbird 898c Side Imager. Although you can find it on Ebay for around your price now and then. I love mine, even when I'm not looking for structure I stare at it just checking out whats under the water. The only reason you need for buying it are the...

I use 7# Sniper for finesse baitcasting.
I don't mind Hybrid for cranking but I'm a fan of it for finesse.

Best advice I can give is to get away from Shimano if casting distance is what you're after.

Where in Italy are you Bryan?
My family is from Calabria and we still have our family house there but I've never even thought of looking for LM's around there. I also have family in Milan.
