I've used several of the Hedgehog series in the past for drop shot. Actually the only Megabass rods (and the GT3) that I still use.

I know there was a review on one of them here on TT, and the tip broke, but I've used these rods hard and never had a tip break on me.

Not as roomy as a bassboat, but two people can fish out of it.

aquaholik, are those spools interchangeable??
I have a Twinpower 2500, and was wondering if any of the new spools fit it.

So GH, mod action is better for something like the JC178?
By the way, do you know what action the S-LIMITED has?

I've been using an X-HEAVY 6'10" mod-fast action rod for the JC178, which is just a jig rod, but plan on building a longer rod for specifically for this application.

I am by no means a swimbait angler, but I have used a bunch in the past.
So here's a question for all you swimbait lovers.

What's the ideal action for a swimbait rod?
