Re: Megabass Dropshot Rod
I've used several of the Hedgehog series in the past for drop shot. Actually the only Megabass rods (and the GT3) that I still use.
I know there was a review on one of them here on TT, and the tip broke, but I've used these rods hard and never had a tip break on me.

Not as roomy as a bassboat, but two people can fish out of it.

aquaholik, are those spools interchangeable??
I have a Twinpower 2500, and was wondering if any of the new spools fit it.

Re: Black Dog Bait's Lunker Punker
I keep hearing about this bait, and I read the review.
I still don't see what's so special about it besides the size.
So what makes those big fish so interested in it???
Once it's more readily available, I think I'll buy a few to try out.

Re: If I buy a SB rod...
That's a magic shad on the picture, right? These things are killer baits, I don't even know why I need anything else....sorry, off topic!! You mean the Javallon copy right? ;) That rod seems a little overkill for a javallon though. I'm with Mattlures. I know people that use the Okuma rods, and most...

Re: Ideal action for a swimbait rod
So GH, mod action is better for something like the JC178?
By the way, do you know what action the S-LIMITED has?
I've been using an X-HEAVY 6'10" mod-fast action rod for the JC178, which is just a jig rod, but plan on building a longer rod for specifically for this application.

Ideal action for a swimbait rod
I am by no means a swimbait angler, but I have used a bunch in the past.
So here's a question for all you swimbait lovers.
