Re: Using PayPal for JDM tackle

I highly recommend using opendns for your network settings (DNS server setting). It has anti-phishing features, so when you visit a phishing site it'll tell you it's a phishing site before letting you visit it.

I'm sure they'll do a review sooner or later (once Cals gets a lefty or something).

Great review.

By the way, I don't know if you guys knew this but FLT is a sister company of Jackall. I think you'll notice similarities in their lures.

Re: What happend to this years ICast coverage.

Zander, things happen. I still think the coverage was pretty good.
Compared to other online coverage, it was still probably the best.

You guys need to fly out to Japan next year in Feb, and cover the International Fishing Show in Japan with me to make up ;)

Re: Custom painted GanCraft JC178

I have several other custom painters that I've used, but P@inter-net seems to do the best with realistic finishes. I've been using him for ages, and he's only getting better too.

Re: Custom painted GanCraft JC178

Very nice... let us know how the finish holds up. I have a few I would send in as well The painter I use claims to use the best two part epoxy paint, so I'm hoping the finish holds up well. Once I get some fish on these, I'll try and update this thread with some pics. The guy that did this for me i...

I only "collect" lures to actually use. If these work well in lakes with rainbow trout, I'll probably end up getting a few more painted since they look so much better than Ayu.

What kind of swimbait are you throwing?
Some smaller Hudds, javallons, buzzbill magnums, jointed claw, and so on. Nothing too big.

Custom painted GanCraft JC178

Just got my baits back from my custom painter, and boy does it look nice.
Can't wait to get some monsters on these.

I'm sure GH and some other gancraft lovers will be drooling over these photos ;)

Re: Yen to Dollar exchange rate???

Like skeeterboy77 said, the exchange rate is the reason. The US$ is getting really weak the last few days. It went all the way to 111yen/usd yesterday. But it'll probably bounce right back. If you're a forex trader, time to make some money ;)

Re: Drop shot hooks?(size/brand)

I use the Gama Tournament Grade WORM324. By far the best hook-ups with this hook when d-shotting with a open hook.

All Sephia models are saltwater reels. Made for "Eging" which is jigging with a Egi (shrimp lure for squid).
