Re: Dollar to Yen exchange rates
I wonder what will happen with domestic versions that were stocked at the higher exchange rates. Using the Z2020//200 as an example, it's now cheaper to get a JDM version vs non sale USDM watered down copy. If the rate goes to 100 then even sale items won't compete. Could be damaging for US busines...

Re: Direct tie or snap for swimbaits
I ordered some Decoy snaps but they are hard to open and close because of their small size and the way it's configured. I've just ordered some Tactical Angler clips many use in surf fishing which makes for very quick on and off to try them out. Spro also has clips with similar function to the TA bu...

Re: MLF Season II
I just signed up for the PPV because show times on the west coast are too early. Aside from learning how the anglers approach the particular fishing situation, it's great to hear their thoughts and commentary on the competitors. I laughed out loud a couple times haha. MLF is awesome.

Re: Daiwa Lexa
I have the 6.3:1 and i really like mine. Great caster, smooth retrieve, smooth drag, and very easy to tune in. I use it for spinnerbaits, pitching and medium cranks and have had no issues or complaints so far. I think Daiwa did a great job with this series. I wouldn't hesitate buying another.

My favorite current fishing show also, can't get enough . Ultimate Match Fishing was awesome too (too bad it's been cut).
Who is everyone's favorite for the win? For me it's between Ike and Martens.

Re: Getting A Frog Ready To Fish
Hmmm, I haven't thought of that but that might be a good idea depending on the brand. The ones I have tried have been pretty good in regards to retaining water. If they did being to sink a good squeeze usually fixes things. Good luck!

Re: What do you all like to fish for during Winter?
Same for me too. This time of year for me is trout time. I will still bring a bass rod just to cast around and work on some things but stocker trout are usually what I am actually catching haha What is your UL set up that you use for trout? I have a 4'9 Fenwick Eagle GT with a size 20 Pflueger Pres...

Re: Getting A Frog Ready To Fish
Haven't caught a frog fish yet, just some blow ups, but one thing that helps frogs that are hard to walk is to put a snap on the line tie, and if you want more movement, trimming the legs a little at a time until you get the desired action is something to consider.

Yeah, he was definitely "enthusiastic" in the video with his hooksets.

Since Pure Fishing looks to be out of the equation, I bet it looks awfully similar to the Okuma/Banax line
