Decoy Snaps
Any of you guys use these? Especially the V snaps and round snaps, for crankbaits, topwaters and jerkbaits.

Re: Lucky Craft Hardbaits
I'm not too fond of their bait's when comparing them to other offerings. The main ones I like are the RC square bills and the deep divers. I tried a pointer once and the front treble made a huge mark across the bait, it was pretty thick too. never had this problem with my 110's

Never heard of anyone using this for bass. Must be for the bigger species out there.

Buy some living rubber in brown and some in black and you can pretty much do whatever you want. You can also add in some silicone accents for black/blue or brown/purple.

I've used their wagtail soft series (like a hudd) and they were very disappointing. Had very little action compared to the beloved hudds.

I use super natural and it's great. Pline CXX too but I don't use that in 10 lb.

I don't think the scissors matter. I use normal everyday scissors or the ones on my leatherman.

Re: 6:4:1 retrieve or 7:3:1 retrieve speed for jig teqnique
I would definitely get the premier over the smoke. The premier is a really solid reel, and the smoke, not so much. I would get the 7.1 premier but the 6.4 would be fine .
