Decoy Snaps

Any of you guys use these? Especially the V snaps and round snaps, for crankbaits, topwaters and jerkbaits.

Re: Lucky Craft Hardbaits

I'm not too fond of their bait's when comparing them to other offerings. The main ones I like are the RC square bills and the deep divers. I tried a pointer once and the front treble made a huge mark across the bait, it was pretty thick too. never had this problem with my 110's \:D/

Never heard of anyone using this for bass. Must be for the bigger species out there.

Re: Make my own jigs??<<....

Buy some living rubber in brown and some in black and you can pretty much do whatever you want. You can also add in some silicone accents for black/blue or brown/purple.

Re: A B T swimbaits

I've used their wagtail soft series (like a hudd) and they were very disappointing. Had very little action compared to the beloved hudds.

I use super natural and it's great. Pline CXX too but I don't use that in 10 lb.

I don't think the scissors matter. I use normal everyday scissors or the ones on my leatherman.

Re: 6:4:1 retrieve or 7:3:1 retrieve speed for jig teqnique

I would definitely get the premier over the smoke. The premier is a really solid reel, and the smoke, not so much. I would get the 7.1 premier but the 6.4 would be fine .
