Loomis IMX Pro SJR 901

Hi, so I have an 18 year old GL3 SJR 700 rod (5'10 mag light power) that the reel seat is basically broken on. I am looking for a replacement rod in the near future and I was looking at the IMX Pro SJR901S rod, it has similar specs and I think i will really like the extra length I have a 1000 size s...

Re: New Cheaper Spinning Reels

I have the Nasci 1000 FC and its pretty awesome.

I agree the 500 sizes lose a few key features. 1000 sizes are where its at.

Re: The Megabass P5 Destroyers are Coming! A First Look at the US P5 Rod Launch Lineup

is that little nub of a trigger comfortable? Ive seen a few rods with similar triggers (like the SC LT casting rod) and I don't like the way they feel at all. doesn't feel secure in your hand no?

Re: Jighead Recommendation

I recently tried the Berkeley Fusion Jig head in white (3/8oz) with a 3.8 inch white Keitech tail and caught a huge striped bass fishing in Prince Edward Island. Highly recommended. strong hook and sharp, bait stays on too.

Re: Berkley’s PowerBait Infused Spinnerbaits – The Power Blade Series

These look awesome however for those of us up North we need closed loop spinnerbaits so a steel leader can be attached. Pike hammer them lol but in a bass only area I guess the safety pin type are ok. one of my pet peeves though: closed loop type spinnerbaits are usually thicker wire and hold up bet...

Re: Moving baits...NRX MBR vs IMX Pro...

for what its worth, I upgraded to an IMX Pro MBR 903C rod this summer and its amazing.
I like the extra length for casting, it really casts far.
its an amazing rod.

G. Loomis IMX Pro MBR903C review

Hi, so I upgraded my 2015 model E6X MBR903c to an IMX Pro in the same model this summer. wow what a difference. The IMX casts better, is lighter, better balanced and is much more sensitive. I can feel the pulses of my #5 Mepps black fury that I never could with the E6X. this rod is the first 'higher...

Re: G. Loomis GCX Lite - thoughts

thank god the reel seats are still Fuji, i am so used to Fuji components on Loomis rods (and some St. Croix rods) I don't want to buy a rod that doesn't have them lol

Re: G. Loomis GCX Lite - thoughts

ya, a local tackle shop told me that they are having all kinds of problems getting fuji guides now.

I am wondering if that was the reason for the change from Fuji to these SeaWorld ones or whatever they are called lol
