I've used both rods... the NRX is lighter, and therefore... will always seem more sensitive IMO. The blank isn't clear coated, too I feel that makes a difference.

They're about 1/2 oz lighter overall, Fuji guides, thinner diameter blanks compared to the older DX (which is certainly welcome). The cork is said to be better quality ... New homes for the Calcutta Conquest 100's. Upgraded from the Crucial Crankbait to the Expride 73Cranking model(Thanks for the feedback again Ryan). Also got a new stick to try Swim Jig's with. This new addiction now needs 2 setups in the boat one with braid for cover and one with fluoro for working...

I could never imagine needing more than a DX 744 for anything 1/2 oz or smaller.
