Yep, same price as Steez Sv Tw........looks like tacklewarehouse increased prices of steez sv and steez a by $50 so CT could be around $550 when it comes hereSore Thumb wrote:Not available yet, but, Digitaka has the CT reels listed with expected prices.

Compare size of "new" and "old" Antares: https://www.instagram.com/p/BsuL62rATFy/ https://c.radikal.ru/c09/1901/94/9fa75102f859.jpg The pic is not truly accurate. See how much bigger around the rod handle on the right looks compared to the one on the left. The camera is not looking straight down. Y...

Re: SV Light Limited
I've had mine for about couple months, fished it 5 times and so far no complaints, mainly fish baits between 1/8 and 3/8.its on medium light 6' rod. Plenty of line capacity for me, using 6lb suffix advance mono (pretty thick line for poundage but like it because of lack of strech). Can really whip li...

Re: sv light ltd or alphas air stream
I have sv light 6.3 gear, used it couple times and like it so far...this is my all around reel for 1/16 to 3/8 weights , on medium light rod... I don't use heavier baits (urban highly preassured ponds), I have alphas sv 105 and prefer sv light. I can really whip smaller baits without any backlashes ...

Re: 16 Aldebaran bfs owners: Question for ya
And plus...29 spool have a good space to put 8-10-12 lb fluoro, and work well with it! I was tested in pair with Z-Pride13, on 8lb and 10lb fluoro, and Ald BFS+29 cast small jerks (1/16 and 1/8)with both this line more comfortable and a couple yards further...(1/16 go to 20 yards -no issues) Yea,Ava...

Re: 16 Aldebaran bfs owners: Question for ya
Bit off topic regarding this reel....since it has magnetic brakes do you set spool tension knob same way as with daiwa sv reels, just to remove side to side play, or it needs to be a bit tighter to limit backlashes? I keep a slight side play. I let the mag brakes do their job. It's a very good cast...

Re: Daiwa Alphas sv105 spool upgrade
I've upgraded bearings with HH air bearings and noticed difference. This is my all around reel for weights mostly between 1/8 and 1/2oz. It is mounted on ML rod, I mostly fish for bass and occasional pike in pressured ponds in urban area with fish mostly under 5lb. I'll probably stick with what I ha...

Re: Daiwa Alphas sv105 spool upgrade
First off, welcome to the forum. I have owned a red SLPW SV105 spool and it offered no upgrade over the stock spool, unless you count the pretty colors that are available. I sold mine off after I realized that. However, it is a fantastic upgrade for any other Alphas platfom. I have 3 of the stock b...

Daiwa Alphas sv105 spool upgrade
Did anyone upgrade alphas sv 105 stock spool to SLP works alphas sv spool, I'm wondering if it is worth the upgrade. Looks to weight 11 g and same capacity as stock spool. Looking to improve casting ability of lighter baits.
Thanks
