Berkley oil and grease
Has anybody tried the Berkley branded oil and grease combo? I was at Wally World and picked it up for $4.99. Figured most of Berkley's stuff is solid so why not.

How much sanding?
How much sanding is required to get a noticeable difference on spool performance? I lightly sanded with 1500 grit wet/dry and then 2000 grit wet/dry and then used brasso to polish it off. I read some articles that said guys were gaining 10+seconds on a spool spin, but I really didn't notice any majo...

Opinions on Super Lube and Rem Oil
I am starting to work on reels for other people after they heard how I clean and relubricate my own reels. I am also still learining. Does anyone have any opinions on Super Lube (temp range -45 to 450 F) and Rem oil?

Which grease for knob bearings or oil?
Which grease should I use for knob bearings Super Lube, Berkley, Ardent, or Hot Sauce? Or do I use oil? I have used oil in the past but was wondering if grease is better because of the function of a knob?

if you can somewhat hear the gears meshing does that mean i did not use enough grease?

Supertuned my reel and now it's louder...??
I supertuned my TD-X. cleaned all parts, soaked bearings in acetone, polished contact points, relubricated bearings and gears making sure not to add more than a drop of oil per bearing and just enough grease to lightly coat the teeth of the gears. Now it's louder and doesn't seem to spin near as lon...
