You clearly have a strong preference for Daiwa and that’s fine if you feel that way. Can’t say I’ve ever run into the Shimano-is-greedy and Daiwa isn’t opinion before. I still agree with the other comments, I have fished all of these reels and for true saltwater use, I would get a Shimano.
