Re: Do you want Daiwa to keep on using the T-Wing on everything they release?

I have quite a few with T Wing and quite a few with og line guide. The T Wing works well and I have no issues buying a reel with one. Like others have said, with the og line guide, if it is positioned all the way to one side or another, it can effect casting distance.

Re: What's your favorite NRX and why ?

I have an 852C, 873, 893, 894, and 822DSR. It really depends on the day I guess as they are all great bottom contact rods. The 852C can also be used for some treble hook baits. If I had a gun to my head and could only have one, I would go with the 873. The fast action vs the xfast actions of the 893...

Re: Zillion1000 has buried the whole Shimano lineup.

I've got one but don't have enough hours on it to declare it the supreme ruler in its class. It certainly is smooth and casts great. I have 2 more coming soon. I'm basically replacing a few of my SV103's. If your a Daiwa person, it's a welcome addition to their lineup. If your a Shimano person, it ...

Re: My SV Boost reels, so far...

I have a 21 Zillion 6.3 that I've used the past 2 weekends. I also have a 7.1 and 8.5 on backorder from Tackle Trap. My opinion so far on the 6.3 is positive. I have a couple OG Zillions and several SV103's in my lineup. The 21 Zillion is an ounce lighter and palms better. It casts and pitches bette...

Re: Phenix k2

I have a 7'1" medium light and love it. It throws small jerkbaits, 4" senos, tubes, and small swimbaits like a dream. I have a custom K2 MH 6'8" that mostly gets used for jerkbaits but will easily do lighter bottom contact. The K2 blank is just as sensitive as my NRX's, Zbone, and MB X7.

Re: Do you guys always use reel covers and rod sleeves?

Rod sleeves when in the rod locker. I don't use reel covers except for the new Exist I just bought this season. I never thought I would spend $800 on a spinning reel and decided to put a cover on it.

Re: New lures in your box 2021

Duo Realis and Jackall spybaits. I've never used a spybait but they seem like they would work so I'm going to try them this season. 110+1 Jr's have already been ordered. I have no doubt these will work well. I'm also going to try Decoy Shot Rig Worm 10 hooks for drop shots to see if my landing perce...

18 Exist GLT 2500-XH spare spool options

Will all the 2500 size Exist spools from Japan fit the USDM 18 Exist GLT 2500-XH? I just picked one up an I'm looking for a shallower spool for braid.

Re: Daiwa steez CT SV TW ' 19 vs PX68

It's nothing I've ever noticed. The only possible negative with the TWS is if you are using braid and have a long leader, I'm not sure how the knot would pass through it. I only have fluoro on mine so someone else would need to comment.

Re: Daiwa steez CT SV TW ' 19 vs PX68

I used to own a PX68 and own 4 Steez CT's now. There is a pretty noticeable difference in regards to refinement. The Steez also handles fluorocarbon much better than the PX68 does, at least in my hands.

Re: Ebay prices

When browsing my favorite online tackle shops, I have noticed a lot of stuff is back ordered. This creates more demand for someone who wants something and is unwilling to wait. Ebay sellers are taking advantage of this I believe. Why wouldn't they? We all want top dollar for whatever it is we are se...
