Went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Helium 3. I ended up getting the 7'3" Heavy X-Fast. I figure I can change the reel on the EMTF and it can cover the lower end of the range in a pinch. The Kistler rod can cover jigs to frogs no problem I'm sure.

I have a Tsurinoya Pro flex 632UL. First impressions I was blown away, I never expected a CDM rod to be this well built. I use mine with a custom Alphas type F for bass and panfish.

Every one of those I have handled have felt geary. Now if they feel that way when fished I have not experienced it.
