Re: Help choosing NRX
I'm probably mostly duplicating what has been said, but wanted to give another vote for the NRX 893 here for texas rigs. I own the 873, 893, and 894 and they all do things a little bit differently. I almost always have a Texas Rig on the 893 and a 1/2 oz jig on the 894. Then depending on what type o...

Re: What’s your 2019 Rod to have?
The two rods I'm looking forward to for 2019 are two Daiwa Steez AGS rods. I purchased the 7'1 MH and the 7'4 XH Frog Rod. I've used a good amount of the NRX rods, but also added a NRX 803C this year, which I normally don't use that short of rod. Anyone have any thoughts on the Steez AGS 7'1 MH and ...

Re: What rod caught you the most fish in 2018?
Daiwa Tatula Elite 7 ft M/MH AGS with Steez SV TW or Tatula SV. It also caught 30 in 2019 so far. Lol This is such an underrated rod. I have two and have tried many Tatula Elite models this and Ish's Frog rod stands out for me. Oh and Fieders Hair Jig/Neko rod. But I saw a TackleWarehouse video of ...

Re: Metanium DC thoughts?
According to some of the iCast videos I've seen like on tackle warehouse the metanium DC is a new version this year. Is that correct? My assumption is it's different than the 2015 version. Also I bought one around Xmas and I tried to open the side plate to adjust which type of line I'd be using and ...

Re: CNQ842c What are you using it for?
I own this and I agree with the above it is versatile. Jerkbaits and topwater yes and yes. I also use it for Shakey Head fishing as well. I think it is a really nice option there. I also work some weightless senkos with it as well and the smaller swimbaits (plastic on jig head style).

Re: Need a Pitching and Frog Rod...Help...
You could get Ish Monroe's signature series AGS Tatula for that. Bet that's one hell of a rod! I'm a big fan of Ish's 7'4 Frog rod, I got two mainly for frogging, but have used it from time to time for pitching as well. As a bonus, I really like it as a swim jig rod too. I haven't used the other tw...

Re: What are You PUNCHING with?
GLX 954 +1 I am a big fan of this rod. The GLX 954 FPR is where it is at for me punching. Warhammer is solid as well, but traded it away after using the GLX. I have purchased the Steez AGS 8' H that I'll try this upcoming season, but will use more as a flipping and pitching rod then just punching, ...

Re: Daiwa Steez AGS
The little time I had with the 7'6 H, I felt like it was very much a bottom contact rod. Are the other rods in the line, specifically the 7'1 MH the same type of feeling, or do they play with swim jigs, chatterbaits (I know it's not ideal), but still some of those moving baits with single hooks?

Daiwa Steez AGS
Hi All, I'm looking for some info on the Daiwa Steez AGS line. I had a small amount of time with the 7'6 H flipping rod. I am interested in feedback of other rods in the line, sensitivity, action, balance, comfort etc.. Specifically anyone have any experience with their 7'1 MH F action, 7'4 XH F, th...
