Envy Black 6'7 Medium
Anybody own this rod? Wondering if it would make a good jerkbait / fluke stick. Is the handle long enough to wrap two small hands around?

Re: Fenwick elite tech smallmouth help
I noticed wobble when I was hung up once then I looked down and realized I didn't tighten the foregrip all the way. Once I did that it was rock solid. Are you tightening up the foregrip all the way until it looks like this? http://i898.photobucket.com/albums/ac182/bangsatbrothers/IMAG0348_zps4fdf1a...
Re: Lews HM85
I think 21farms had a few Lews rods. Maybe he can chime in

Re: Fenwick elite tech smallmouth help
Allow me to elaborate. My point is not that I'm to good for electrical tape, rather I shouldn't have to use the s##t to begin with. It's a Fenwick, not a NRX, however it were I'm sure the electrical tape thing would go straight out the door. It's like putting duct tape on a Pinto, though the car may...

Re: Fenwick elite tech smallmouth help
Assuming you are talking about the baitcasting model, I've used a Curado 50 and Citica on it. The foregrip can actually tighten all the way down so that its flush with the handle and there's no gap. Its pretty secure that way and no discernable flex or movement. I tried both my chronarch 51e and sc...

ALX Zolo B twitch stick
This a 6 foot 6 rod with a 2.5 plus power rating. Anyone have it? I'm curious what the power on this rod is like. I may end up with the 6 foot 9 Rosa 3 power if nobody knows. How are you guys liking these Zolo sticks?

Are there any others? (Reel Seat Options)
Reel seats. Aside from Daiwas squid design, Cabelas magtouch, Castaway custom, are there any other reel seats that have large exposure but are not split two piece?

Fenwick elite tech smallmouth help
Anybody find a reel that seats secure and does NOT slide around? I have tried all my Daiwa and Shimano reels. Open to any and all suggestions. Love the blank, hate the reel seat. I know 21Farms stated that the reel foot on the Lexa is larger so maybe that would work?

Does Phenix still put the recommended techniques on the blank like on the 1st series?

Is this good or bad? I'm confused
Power Pro Zero impact braided line - Every 20 feet there is a portion of line that is 50% stronger than the rest of the line. Please tie your knots here, the termination zone. I understand that marketing niches are needed to push a product, but why not just make the entire spool of line as strong as...
Re: Lews HM85
Just from reading the verbage of Lews reels the way they describe all the rods reminds an awful lot of BPS rods. If you have ever fished a Johnny Morris line rod, I would imagine these are quite similar.

Re: Zillion Type R, Chronarch 150 CI4 or Abu Premier Gen3???
Out of the 3 I would choose the Type R. Don't have a lot of exp with non aluminum reels, but for resistant type baits I trust aluminum. As far as the gear ratio is concerned you can control that with your wind speed.
