Would the new 166m model work be good for jerkbaits? I know I've asked before on here and the 170m is good but not sure if the 66 model is targeted for another technique.

I used to live in Sac and fished Whiskey Slough. It is decent fishing. It's been years now and I don't even know if it's still open but about 10 years ago you could drive the entire road and fish along it.

Gotta be a 110 for me. For numbers you can't beat a smaller size plastic worm like a 3" senko, that's what I give my son when we go.

My hands aren't big but I use my 250DC and recently (on accident) my 400D Calcutta. I actually like the rounds for big baits.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm currently using a GLX crankbait 7 footer and it does the job well but I want something more "blingy." if possible a bit shorter too. I actually want a Poison Ultima but cant seem to find them.

I toss em. All my MB baits go into a Plano tackle box. The one that's angled and about 4" tall.

What do you think is the best jerkbait rod for MB vision 110's? I'll occasionally be tossing some jr's and magnums too with 8-10lb fluro?
