In search for a light popper and small crank rod
Hi all, I would like to upgrade the rod (a Okuma EVX crank air rod) that I use for my poppers and crankbaits. While the rod is decent for the money it is not the lightest and most sensitive one. I would like to be able to throw 1/4 - 3/8 oz poppers and cranks on it with the occasional 1/2oz. Reel wi...

Re: 22 Exsence DC
Maybe I am about to make a dumb comment. But isn't this the 2021 Antares DC in a saltwater version? Looks identical to besides the coating.

Re: Is the new Zillion the best reel made in a decade?
To me (price being irrelevant), the Steel SV TWS is the best. It casts a wide range of lures, casts far, can skip, has a decent line capacity and is the smoothest (lasting) reel I have ever fished. And I have fished with basically any high end reel that has been released in the last 6-7 years.

Re: Steez AGS 72H
I had an 854 NRX for roughly 12 minutes and it is clearly more sensitive than that rod was lol. For a pretty powerful rod, it is impressively sensitive in my hands. I think it is a standout in the line. Thanks for the reply! What reel do you have mounted on the rod, where is the balance point? Than...

Re: Steez AGS 72H
What would the max. weight that one would want to comfortably throw on this rod (no cover/ in cover)?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: ARMS "SUPER LEGGERA"
Any feedback on performance of the rod? Which model? I have the ASL6904X. I fish with it occasionally. Regular action and it is for primarily for jerkbaits/topwater for me. It is an incredible rod and I love the carbon handle. My understanding is that the blanks are quite similar to the X7 series, ...

Re: Daiwa Steez (New HLC) impressions
Hi all,
Is the spool the only mechanical part that sets the Steez A HLC apart from the regular Steez A?
In other word: Is it fair to assume that if I switched the spool in the Steez A HLC to the regular spool of the Steez A, that I basically becomes a regular Steez A?
Thanks for clarifying.

Re: Zillion TW HD ‘22
Does anybody have experience with the 22 Zillion HD and the 2018 HD?
Considering either for a high speed reel for 1/2 oz - 1oz chatterbaits. Smoothness and longevity are key.
Thanks for any feedback!
