I do apologize for the late response and the issue that occured. The worm gear is made from the same material. There were no changes made to that gear.

We did receive your reel and it is being shipped out today. We are going to send your check back. Since we are taking care of this as a warranty/courtesy, there is no charge for the repair.

Hi, I talked to the service department and they said it could be dry. They suggested lubricating that device. Put a drop or two of oil and move it back and foth spreading the lube around and this should help keep it from getting stuck. Give this a try and let us know how that works. I haven't seen t...

The 6'11" Tatula drop shot rod has a solid core tip top. This is the only model that has this tip top. I do apologize for being late with the response.

They have not mentioned to us here in customer service about any recalls. If you are having an issue with your reel, you can send it in to our service department and we will check it out. If there is an issue and the reel is under warranty, we will service your reel and get it back to you.
