Re: So I made a deal and on here and then..........

Honor, principle, integrit, character... Only real people, and real Men will understand it...and abide by it. Just of note, it is more common in understanding among Men than Women. In my experience anyway, as it is something that boys learn from a very young age amongst each other. I suppose that Wo...

Break strength of 4lb fireline...

Will this stuff break at 4lbs or higher? Will I be better off using the 6lb? Reel: Daiwa Certate Finesse 2004 Rod: First Gen St Croix LE 7'0" MLF. Lures: 1/8-5/16oz minnows, shallow cranks, Kastmasters, in-line spinners, 1/8-1/4oz light plastics. Quarry: Trout, bass, panfish, smallies. Thanx in adva...

Re: TDZ 103P or Shimano MG / MG7

Just mark off the MG7 for the deeper cranks, unless you are going to burn lipless rattlebaits at 15' +. (wouldn't that be KOOL!) TDZ103P will probably have more power for all day cranking, HEG or not on the Met MG as I feel the lower gear ratio will eventually shine through. IMO, TDZ is more solid o...

Re: yozuri hybrid line

Big Game is better for hard running LARGE gamefish as its inherent stretch helps to absorb the shock from these large fast running gamefish, ie: Salmon, Stripers, flatheads (not fast running, but will beat the snot out of a lot of lines and runs with tons of torque), tarpon, jacks, etc. However, it ...

Re: Your favorite fishiing combo?

This is such a tough one, as my fav is what I intend on using during a hot bite with a particular technique.

Steez 103H, Cal 100DC reels are on par, the best of my lot for BC.

Overall, MBR842/Steez 103H, CVZ 103/Shikari SHX Custom PP 703.5, Caluctta 100DC/Loomis CB847 Custom...in that order.

Re: cheap reel suggestions

Are you open to round reels and maybe used? If so... Used: Green Curado, Daiwa TDX, First Gen Calcutta 100/200 New: Shop around for any left over Daiwa Millionaire CVX 103/203 or Abu Tournament Pro 3600/5600 from that "other" place. BTW...I would also list WTB on this site for the $75.00 that you ha...

Re: Every fish lover should watch this

The people who brought them in didn't really have bad intentions...it was the heavy flood of 1993? that caused them to overflow from Mississippi and another Southern's State's domesticated catfish pond that caused the initial spread. However, that is neither here or there now...it is the fact of wha...
