Re: Help: Power Rating on MajorCraft (travel) Rods L vs. UL

i feel the same as the 2 above about the 6'7" L BFS corzza that i have. rated 1/16-1/4 but i'd say 1/8 is really the right mark for the achievable lower rating.

i'm mostly throwing straight braid. water clarity doesn't present much of an issue around here.

Re: Tackle addict vs fisherman?

i'm a tackle junkie that loves to fish. i'll fish every combo i own. now some of them aren't going on the river in the kayak, but i have no shelf queens at all. i have some high end rods, reels, lures and all of them are getting wet at some point!

Re: Is anyone upgrading bearings on sv spools

i just recently swapped out the bearings on my 2 alphas sv's. i put HH bfs air bearings in one and HH air bearings in the other. i haven't had enough time to really test them out yet though!

Re: Reel for MB P3 Bearing Down

I have the p3 bearing down i just got from gary at the tackle trap not too long ago. I haven't really even had a chance to fish it, only once for a short spell at the pond and not a bite. But i have an alphas sv 105 on it and it's my dedicated jig setup. AWESOME tip on the rod for the 3/8-1/2 jig ra...

Re: Alphas SV 105 vs SS SV vs Aldebaran 50

I have 2 alphas sv 105's and an aide 51HG. I really prefer the alphas over the aldebaran for just about everything i've used them for. I'd opt for the alphas here.

thanks for all the replies guys!
i have mine setup for weightless senkos/flukes. it is a very versatile stick indeed and a lot of fun to fish. rolling with an alphas sv 105SHL on it right now and they're a pretty sweet match!

thanks! the curado is currently set up for the BFS duty. i haven't even made a cast yet with the alde 51 so i wasn't sure if it would blow me away or not. the curado works very well, just didn't know which route others might go...
