Re: g loomis NRX worth $450+?
When you amortize the cost of a rod on a cost per fishing trip basis the rod cost is not really significant. Buy a rod that feels good and one you can catch fish when using it. I have had an NRX852 for 6 + months coupled with a tuned Chronarch 100D7 with braid and fluoro leader and will buy more. C...

Re: Reeling Demographics... are you a righty or lefty
I am left handed and reel lefty. I throw lefty but bat righty. I guess my folks dropped me numerous times when I was a baby.

Re: Which is your favorite rod company?
Definitely G Loomis, I think Shimano has made them better. I got my hands on a few Dobyn's rods at Cabela's today and was not impressed. I felt like they spent to much time and money trying to make the rods look special, to me they looked way to busy and not attractive at all. Pardon my pun but too ...

Re: NRX review soon ?
I own a couple of NRX rods and really enjoy using them, with that said I would also enjoy a review here. I have trouble finding a dealer that carries G Loomis NRX rods for me to handle and pair with a reel. Not many folks would spend $500 on a mass produced fishing rod never mind doing it sight unse...

Re: Tackle Warehouse, no special orders
No question TW has my business when they carry what I need. Their prices are excellent and they always do what they promise, best customer service I've encountered in years. I hope they don't change a thing except get bigger and carry more. I also inquired about a St Croix Legend Xtreme spinning rod...

Re: sunglasses
If your spending $200 I would want the very best and in my book that is Maui Jim. I just bought a pair of Kaimana for $219 and couldn't be happier. Real glass lenses super lightweight, durable, saltwater safe with a 30 day money back guarantee and a two year warranty. I am still wearing a pr of Maui...

Re: P-line Voltage?
I love P-Line CXX and use it today in my bait casters (12lb High Vis Flour Green) with either P-Line Fluorocarbon (20lb or Seaguar Inviz X (20lb) as a leader. On my spinning reel I only use Suffix Elite (12lb) it's real good. Speaking of fluorocarbon has anyone tried Seaguar Tatsu? I think it's the ...
