I was Shimano only, (Lo Profilr, Round Reel's, Spinning 100%) The new Lew's Tournament with the aluminum handle was better than all my Curados and Castaics to Core's, there gone, I think Lew's Tournament is where their better than everyone's status starts! the Pro and Team are in my book as good as...

The core51mg7 and steez are light enough for me. 4.9oz is intriguing, might get one to try but $500 for an Abu is crazy. Might see them on fleabay for three and change after launch.

I agree with "all or the above" except that the abu garcia stx is 2 ounces less and most flippen sticks weigh 5 ounces or better. Therefore the stx is the better choice in IMO.... I have a zillion which is used on a imx 844 for plastic applications. i have sold off my zillion reels for the Gen 3 ST...

FX2 is much rounder and more durable than PP. FX2 has 8 carrier for all.
