Re: Show off your bigbait setups!!!
Very nice! Here's my weapon of choice for swimbaits in that 2-8oz range. Rod: Deps Huge Custom Reel: Megabass Lin Origin 10 with the Drt 95mm Handle Lure: Drt Tiny Klash 20200422_161021-480x640.jpg Which rod model do you have? I really like the H3S-76RF AND THE H3S-81RF The H2S-75RF is a completely...

Re: Most forgiving baitcaster
I wouldn't necessarily say "most" forgiving, but I'd recommend one of the Abu or Lews with dual braking. That way he can still learn to use a baitcaster and grow into by backing off the brakes as he gets more proficient. SV and DC are awesome (own several of each) but they kind of take the work out...

Re: Evergreen rod for smaller swimbaits
I have the Super Stallion GT and love it. I frequently use the Deps Slide Swimmer 175SS with it.
Another option is the Combat Stick Actaeon. Great rod and extremely powerful considering the lure weight range 1/2-4oz.

Re: Point blank 701MHF
Hi there Can anyone fishing this blank confirm the RDA weight of 525g? I‘ve just measures my rod and ended up with 630g of power. Which... irritates me. I have two other point blank rods 701MLF measured 400g (10 less than advertised, quite accurate) 691MXF measured 440g spot on I know handle length...

Re: Steez SV TW bent stabilizer bar
This part is supposed to be straight right? Just noticed that mine is slightly bent out of shape. I would think I did the damage trying to break a snag free and the line made contact with it ](*,) It should be an easy fix. Just take it out and make it straight. Sounds difficult to bent it out of sh...

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
I believe the new Zillion is a 34 mm spool platform instead of the traditional 36 mm. This means that probably, the new Zillion 10 will be a spin-off of the Steez A and that is a good thing. The current Zillion SV is also 34mm. This new 10 looks to share more with the current Zillion SV than the St...

Re: —Daiwa Catalina TW 4.9:1–
Now these are different and why I'd like to see the Catalina or Zillion HD set plates. This is a Zillion SV, TWS, and Tatula-R. They're all interchangeable and completely different from the others. I'm not sure if there's any metal to them at all. The part that appears to rest against the frame is ...

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
I saw the video and actually was disappointed as when I red 2020 in the title, the idea of a Daiwa Z TW 2020H came to my mind but guess I'm asking too much and I already have 5 Zs  Do you have the yellow limited edition Z2020? No, I have one Z 2020H and 4 Z 2020SH BLACK LIMITED all converted t...
