Re: 2019 wishes
A Tatula 100 SV would be nice. Right now the Tat SV is my favorite bang for the buck reel. Something with the same performance in a smaller and lighter form factor would be nice.

Re: Kast King reels
I have the Assasin and Carbon Stealth. I haven’t tried the Stealth yet but I fished the Assasin in the bay last weekend for spotted bay bass and it stopped engaging about half way through the day. I will say that the retrieve was smooth and quiet, but it makes a lot of noise on the cast. I opened it...

Re: Quantum reels
Because Quantum is a made is China brand. I don’t mind made in China as long as it’s priced accordingly. I like my Quantums just fine since I only buy them when they go on clearance for half price. Tackletour caters more towards the JDM and enthusiast level crowd. It amazes me to see the amount of p...

It would be nice if 13 made these in a 3x10x4 so we could try them in our Shimanos.

Am I correct that they are all based on the same platform give or take a few bearings and color scheme?

Maxcuatro?
Anyone do a break test on PP Maxcuatro yet? I checked it out in stores and it just seems like they re-labeled the line with the next higher strength test. For example, 50lbs pp is the same diameter as 65lbs maxcuatro. I'm just curious to find out if it's just hype or if it does offer a higher streng...

Kicker Fish Bait co.?
Their website has been down and Tackle Warehouse removed most of their product line from the website. It looks like they may have gone out of business but does anyone know for sure??
I was looking to stock up on their Hole shot high tail worms and lizards but cant seem to find them anywhere.

Kudos to Irod
When my Irod Genesis 2 rod broke on a hookset I thought to myself, "there goes $150!" After contacting Matt Newman, he told me to cut of the 2" part of the butt section that has the model number in along with a check for $70. $50 to cover the warranty and $20 for the return shipping. I ended up cutt...

Re: Shimano Jackall Poison Adrena 172M...uses?
I have the 610m and a 3/8 jig will be too heavy. I mainly use it for flukes and senkos, lipless and 3/8 spinnerbaits, underspins.

Re: Ned rig rod
Like any other technique. Match the rod to the overall weight of the lure. I mainly use my 7" ML Shimano Zodias paired with a Pfleuger President Lmited in the 25 size. Spooled with 5lbs Power Pro tied to anything from 6 to 10lbs fluorocarbon leaders. I mainly throw the 1/15oz Zman head with the TRD ...

Re: Best Lipless Crankbait
Pradco made a huge mistake when they discontinued the one knocker series. The original chrome xrk50 was my favorite lipless. Also best bang for the buck too at only $6.99 Here they are. Rebranded. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Booyah_One_Knocker/descpage-BYOK.html Yeah I know about those, bu...

Re: Meet the $100 BFS reel: The Haibo Smart
MaxZmus do you mean like old shimanos? Pinion rides on spool shaft and no double bearing support.(luna has same design as 15 ' aldebaran) Yes. The spool shaft goes all the way to the cast control, and through the bearing under the cast control cap. Low Range is right, just buy the Haibo Smart if yo...
