Has anyone tried the Ryoga's 1016 spool and compared it to the T3 1016 spool? Is there a difference in casting performance? I don't know but when fishing from the bank, i see an insane amount of people using the Shimano Compre, Shimano Clarus and Shimano Crucial. Shimano Compre being the most popular of the three.

I don't have the Lavante but i own the Zodias and the Hyuga. Assuming the Hyuga is just a JDM version of the Levante, i'd go with the Levante any day. In my opinion, the only advantage the Zodias has is the rod is lighter and less tip heavy (and this is only noticeable in a rod over 7.5+ft). IMHO t...

buying from the site is perfectly fine. just look at the ratings of the seller. I sure would've preferred if they accepted paypal but oh well.

All good rods. Out of these, i'd go with the Expride, fallowed by the MB Hyuga.

Tuned FX68 with the original spool/#10 832 or the 1016 spool with the same line. I imagine a T3 would cast same.
